Reconstruction

Just a word to say that the new issue of the online magazine Reconstruction is available including a small contribution from me. The theme is blogging, and among the articles, they asked a number of people to contribute entries on why they blog. So, if you're interested in what makes various bloggers tick, stop by and check it out. My thanks to the editors for inviting me to participate, and welcome to any Reconstruction readers visiting here for the first time.

The image here is the marvelous AngelD, bending over backwards for the shot.

Interesting to hear what motivates people to blog. It seems to be the "in" thing right now, many people are living their lives on-line entirely. Sort of like a self-imposed 'big brother is watching'. I guess if used wisely, it can be a wonderful tool, but I'm sure it's a fine balance, and keeping things interesting / updating regularly is quite the commitment. You keep a nice balance with your blog!

I think blogging for a photographer makes complete sense. It allows the reader a glimpse into the artist's mindeset providing a context for the multiple images presented. You do a great job with your blog. Your writing is fresh and real, the images are classy yet push the limit, a refresheshing treat from some of the BS one finds readily available on the net. Please continue the great work.
