I probably spend way too much time looking over my site traffic, but one thing I've noticed is that two names consistently turn up as search terms: Sarah Ellis and JJ Plush -- usually along with the word "nude" but that's understandable.
So in a shameless attempt to pander to the masses, I present Sarah Ellis (top, ready to pounce) and JJ Plush, who can even make tulle look retro. Both are absolute dreams to work with, and I should make more opportunities to do so soon.

Time for Sarah
For no particular reason, here are a few from my most recent shoot with Sarah Ellis. With a model this beautiful, who needs a reason to post images?
Also, found a fun bit of notoriety online... I entered May's nerve.com photo contest, and while winners have not been announced, they did choose one of my shots for the little 3-image animated thumbnail for the "Bubbles" theme. Nerve also used a shot I did of Sarah Ellis from the "Flip Flops" theme in an online ad for the site. Of course, no credit on either, no payment... but still nice to be chosen. And maybe I'll win a prize in the contest. Keep your fingers crossed!

Unspoken
Nothing to say? Guess I can't go wrong posting a few shots of Sarah Ellis, featuring make-up and body art by Loretta K... masks by AutoZone. Have a great weekend folks.

Disrobing...
When a model asks me what to bring to a shoot, on the list of suggested items is always a robe or a long coat so they can cover up between set-ups, or if we decide to wander around where we might be seen. Funny how few of them actually have a robe to bring, or remember to bring it along. When I'm checking my lights, sometimes they'll wear the robe until I'm actually ready to shoot, and once in a we'll grab a few shots with the robe. Here we have "Kaleidescope Eyes" striking a dramatic pose, Valentine with some characters, Sarah Ellis using a dress shirt as a cover-up while in the makeup chair, and Penny just looking adorable, as she always does, in a robe I got at the Salvation Army. It may be gaudy, but at least it's comfy.

Noir
Had something of a "film noir" notion when I thought of this shot... turned out a little different, but I still like it. Can't go wrong with Sarah...
Thanks to all who took the time to give me a "yeah" in the JPG magazine voting. Despite the heavy traffic to this site in the last few weeks, it doesn't seem to have translated into votes. I know a lot of visitors are just here for the boobs, but I'm starting to wonder how many of the visitors are even actual people versus some sort of automated bots that just cruise the net and harvest images. So, if you're a person reading this, please take a moment to just leave a comment or something. I'd greatly appreciate it.

H20 Art Show
I'm supposed to take some work down to an art show this evening at a club downtown. It's billed as an art show, but the flyer only features musicians, so who knows? Haven't even been to the club, let alone seen their set-up for an art show, so I'm just going to take my little stack of mounted prints, find a place to show a few of them off, and see if anyone looks my way. These are essentially the ones that did NOT sell at the Dirty Show, so maybe they'll play in Dayton a little better. Or maybe not.
Coincidentally, another shot of Sarah behind the masks. Thought for SURE this one would sell at Dirty.
Postscript: turns out I HAVE been to the club, numerous times. I'd known it for years as The Dayton Diner, but it's changed hands umpteen times since then and I lost track -- turns out it is now The Pearl. Got there a few minutes later than I'd planned, but the charming Mary set me up with a primo spot next to Kidtee Hello's table. Was able to nicely display 15 prints, and sold the print of Sarah shown above. (Thanks Matt!) Got a good number of folks really looking over the work who were very complimentary, and I may even have a couple new models out of the evening as well. :) There will be another show there April 17th, and I plan to have a number of new prints available then. Also going to look at a way of selling "loose" prints rather than matted so I can have some product at a little more affordable price. Thanks again to Mary and everyone who stopped by.

Sarah belle 'em
A couple more from the stunning Sarah Ellis... the title "Sarah belle 'em" is sort of a corruption of Garrison Keillor's faux writer credit "Sarah Bellum" -- an obvious play on cerebellum, a part of the brain. My tortured pun refers to how, in addition to being knock-down drag-out gorgeous (belle), Sarah is brainy -- a grad student in a rather obscure and non-glamorous discipline that I'd have a hard time even describing. Her brilliance shines through in her quick wit and shining personality, too, and it's a pleasure just hanging out with her for a few hours, let alone photographing her. It's so nice talking with her, there's a distinct danger of chatting away the entire shoot. These two shots were Showcased on OMP today, in case anyone's keeping score. Thanks for another great shoot, Sarah, and hope to go again soon!

Did someone say Sarah Ellis?
Soon, I'll have the privilege of working again with the amazing Sarah Ellis, so watch for more of her here before long. Yes, I'm bragging a bit. And yes, I was looking for an excuse to put up a couple more nude shots of Sarah from our first shoot. So sue me.

Three tall drinks of water...
Here's Sarah hanging out, Kristina taking it easy, and Iris basking. Cheers, y'all.

Honors...
Well, this weekend is "The Dirty Show" and it's an honor to have a couple pieces hanging in the show, and I've been scrambling to get some prints ready for sale in the "Museum Store" at the event. Or another honor I'll mention now and again is when an image gets a "Showcase" on OMP. But I would say one of the best honors for me is when a model chooses to feature one of my photos as the main image on her portfolio, especially if the shot is not "brand new." As I'm writing this (subject to change, of course), the stunning Sarah Ellis has a photo of ours from last spring (above) as her main OMP image. Sarah has shot with most of the top photographers in the midwest, and you just have to click the link above to see the scads of great images on her portfolio page. But she is currently featuring mine as her main image, and wrote me a nice note to let me know she's back from her summer vacation and is ready to shoot again. In this game, I have to think that ranks as one of the nicest honors I could wish for. Thanks Sarah! :D
Speaking of honors, the shot of Sarah with the sandals above won a prize in the Nerve Photo contest a few months back... the theme was "sexiest picture of someone wearing just sandals." She should have swept the awards, but the judge had a strong "pro grunge" bias... oh well.
